Springboks are found in the grassland regions of Southern Africa. Small in size but among the top ten fastest animals in the world, the Springbok can run 90km/h (56mph) with a vertical leap of 14ft. As a defense mechanism they leap multiple times and reveal a white crest of hair to alert the herd of predators. It’s also a way they impress their mate during mating season.
